Autocad Technician/Drafter

Job summary:

AutoCAD Drafter works with AutoCad to assist in the creation of Furniture.  Working with SigmaNest is a priority in this position.

Summary of essential job functions:

  • Work with Auto Cad within the Furniture Manufacturing process
  • Work well within a team and individually
  • Read/understand 3D diagrams
  • Visualize and translate drawings to finished product
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum requirements:

  • Certified training in AutoCAD or relevant work experience
  • AutoCAD (2004 or better) experience required
  • SigmaNest experience strongly preferred 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand on feet and/or walk for entire shift (8 – 10+ hours per day)
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
  • High level of Geometry/mathematics
  • Must be able to work overtime as directed including 5-6 days a week
  • Must perform job with safety as a top priority
  • Must pay attention to detail to meet high quality expectations
  • Mechanical aptitude, good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to read and follow directions
  • Must be able to show up to work on-time, every day, and take direction from supervisor(s)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to get along with others and work in a team environment
