Line Supplier

Job Summary:

Line Suppliers work to keep production workers stocked with materials and parts. This position requires a close attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment between several different departments.

Summary of essential job functions:

  • Stages production area so Upholstery Assemblers or Frame Builders have all the materials they need to start and continue the assembly or building process
  • Collects, sorts, counts, and bundles upholstery or frame parts
  • Collects parts and carries them from other departments to the workers on the Upholstery lines or Frame tables
  • Sorts, counts, and stacks parts according to color, quantity, material, and part-number specifications on schedule
  • Carries bundled parts to storage area and places bundles in bins or on shelves according to part number

Minimum requirements:

  • High school diploma preferred, and previous material handling in a production environment highly preferred.

Abilities required:

  • Ability to read, write, count, and do basic math
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to show up to work on-time, every day, and take direction from supervisor(s) in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively on a daily basis
